On a day of 104 degrees, the store brought the stray cat inside and gave them water and snacks. Wandering animals lead busy lives alone, with no shelter to travel, and are exposed to all weather conditions in addition to their responsibility to find their own food resources.
The store opens for stray dogs to rest on a hot summer day. We’ve already heard some stories about poor dogs suffering from the cold and the types of places that open doors for them, but besides the cold, dogs are also susceptible to high temperatures and there is one store on very hot days. Took the dog inside and made it funky. It was a really hot day in Mexico with a temperature of 104°F and the street dogs visited the market. “He has been here for the past [days],” the salesperson said according to Dodo. “We suspect the owner has left him. He asked us for help.”
“We could only provide food, water and a few toys from the store where we paid with our own money.” But on this very hot day, they decided to go further and cool off by bringing the dog indoors. Dogs liked to avoid the sun. In fact, he was so comfortable that he lay right in the hallway and took a nap. “They let him in because the temperature outside was mostly hellish,” said the clerk. “We feel sorry for him, but he looks happier in the store.” And the kindness of the clerk was contagious. A customer named Adolfo Pazzi Aumada came to the market to buy milk and decided to buy a sweet treat for his dog.
“I felt guilty about the dog’s abilities,” said Adolfo Dodo. “But now he’s getting the love he deserves.” We sincerely thank the current store for opening the door to Sweet Dog. We hope more people like it.
