Elizabeth Spence and her husband simply cannot turn down any animal in need of a home, especially if no one else does. When they came across Nora, an 8-year-old English pointer, they decided to keep her. Until she met their 11-month-old son Archie, Nora was terrified of everything.
Mom noticed the rescue and baby Archie’s instant bond and decided to take some unique and adorable photos of the two best friends. They nap a lot together, cuddled up as cute as can be. The photos capture the two friends’ incredible friendship and couldn’t be more special.

Elizabeth also hopes that the photos will bring attention to rescues like Nora and the fact that large rescue dogs can be wonderful with children. She also mentions that Nora and Archie only nap together when she is present. When it comes to being around small children, rescue dogs (especially larger breeds) sometimes get a bad rap. But take it from these two: the stereotype is completely false.
