Brave Man Jumps Into Frozen Water To Save Innocent Dog’s Life

In fact, it seems to be very difficult to say what we would do to save an animal in a life-or-death scenario. However, we should all agree that those who save animals deserve the title of ‘hero.’ On a very cold day in Buffalo, New York, Don Chatten was out walking his two dogs when a woman approached him and asked for his assistance in locating her small puppy.

He didn’t hesitate to assist her, but as he saw the missing dog, he recognized the danger and felt he needed to act quickly. Don knew he didn’t have much time if he wanted to save the dog who had fallen into cold waters in Ellicott Creek Park. Don called 911, but worried that they might be too late, he decided to save the dog himself, according to WKBW News. He attempted to crawl across the ice, but since it did not work, he decided to jump into the freezing water.

Don told WKBW News, “I knew it wasn’t that deep since I used to come here when I was a youngster. According to the TV station, the shivering dog was then transported to the vet to be examined.
