When “Rush” the Pit Bull was taken in by the “SICSA Pet Adoption Center” in Ohio, he was a scared little creature. He had been homeless his entire life, but the volunteers were hopeful that he would find a home soon because he was so sweet dog. But after learning that Rush was a “Pit Bull,” who are still erroneously labeled as “aggressive and temperamental,” every possible adoptive who came to see him did not want to adapt the dog.

Rush was wondering why no one ever adopted him as he watched every dog in the shelter find a home one by one. Rush was seen preparing his own bed before visiting hours one day by the workers. They caught Rush holding the sheets in his mouth and tucking them neatly into the corners. Before the day’s adoption visits, the poor dog only wanted to look like a good guy. The shelter realized they had to help Rush’s frantic cries reach a wide audience because he made it a daily habit to make his bed.

They posted the video to Facebook, where Rush’s sincerity drew the attention of many animal enthusiasts. We’re glad to report that Rush has found a new home! A couple who had recently lost their dog decided to choose Rush. Rush’s melancholy expression vanished as he returned home to begin his new life as a cherished boy!
